I want to thank you and provide a letter of reference on the recent 1200 sq foot detached garage and game room construction project you completed for us.
About 6 months before hiring your team to build our detached garage and game room I had a pretty good vision for the space. I drew up the plans and interviewed you and one other company. I attempted a third, but they were unresponsive. I was very impressed with both Solution Source and the other company I did interview and both quotes were comparable, so it was a tough decision. I ended up going with Solution Source based on a mutual personal contact we share.
At the initial interview, Mike came to my home to hear about what we were envisioning and walked the property talking about placement, functionality, and other details. I felt Mike was very thorough and had a very good understanding of what we were wanting.
A few things that were very important to us was that the detached garage didn’t look like an afterthought but that it belonged and flowed with the main house. That the game room portion somehow felt like an extension of our existing entertaining space as well as bright and air. And that it could serve other functions in the future such as a guesthouse.
Once the contract was signed, I was even more excited when the plans I had drawn were now in the hands of the Architect. Once ready, the plans were reviewed with us and many of the details such as light fixtures, outlets, doors, windows, etc were discussed. Mike and the Architect also made recommendations that later made a big difference in maximizing the space.
The project took a total of 14 months from signed contract to total completion. Cindy was great at communicating and ensuring the details that were important to us did not get lost. Shaun provided a timeline, answered questions, and kept things moving. And each subcontractor that came out was professional and friendly.
For us Solution Source 100% delivered on quality of work and attention to details. The quality of our new build is absolutely outstanding. Communication overall was good with a few hiccups along the way but their willingness to listen ensured we were satisfied. I now have a gorgeous game room for entertaining and a detached garage for storing our business equipment…even better than I envisioned! My absolute favorites are the double glass sliders letting in lots of natural light, the cathedral ceiling, shelving, and quality of cabinets and counter tops. It is truly a gorgeous and inviting space.
